Frazier & Deeter Decks the Halls
12.20.2013 The Holidays are here! At Frazier & Deeter the season began with toys piling up under the tree for Toys for Tots, festive cube decorations, and a tacky holiday sweater contest.
This year, Frazier & Deeter chose to support our local community with a Holiday Toy Drive for the US Marine Corps Reserve and the 2013 North Atlanta Toys For Tots Campaign! Over the past three weeks, the elves of Frazier & Deeter have exceeded all expectations and filled the bins with over 300 toys. A special thanks to our skillful shoppers Ashley Babinchak, Mark Bullard, Andy Burnett, Katie Cota, Lauren Hicks, and Angie Wellford!
Everyone got a chance to display their creativity at the 3rd Annual cube decorating contest. The cubes were transformed into presents, gingerbread houses, and winter wonderlands. Cube walls were wrapped in holiday paper and embellished with lights and tinsel. Contestants served tasty treats in their cubes while the judges walked around sipping delicious eggnog. While all the cubes were exceptional and festive, there was a clear winner. For the second year in a row, Katie Cota won the contest with her classy, elegant holiday décor.
This year, a popular new tradition was born at Frazier & Deeter - the tacky holiday sweater contest. On the day of the cube decorating judging, people were encouraged to wear tacky holiday sweaters. There were vintage sweaters with shoulder pads, homemade sweatshirts and festive vests. Even partners got in on the action. Andy Burnett entered a picture of himself from last year wearing a tacky sweater. Morgan Long, tacky holiday sweater finalist, made her own sweater that transformed into a Christmas tree, but the winner of the tacky sweater contest, Jared Herndon, stood out as he was dressed like an elf!
It has been another fun holiday season at Frazier & Deeter. As we gear up for New Year’s and the 2014 tax season, we’re sure to plan some other ways to have fun and celebrate.
